Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 February 2026
1. Service Description
Ordivo ("we", "us", "our") provides hosted infrastructure for collecting cryptocurrency order book data. We are a software and infrastructure vendor — we do not sell, redistribute, or licence market data. Our service provisions a dedicated logging node and database per client on managed infrastructure. You access your collected data via our API (REST and/or WebSocket).
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use collected data solely for your own internal business or personal use
- Comply with all applicable exchange terms of service, including Binance's terms
- Not redistribute, resell, or sublicence any data collected through our service
- Not use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Not attempt to access databases or infrastructure beyond your own dedicated node
4. Subscriptions and Billing
All payments are processed by Paddle.com, who acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, tax compliance, and payment processing on our behalf. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Prices are displayed exclusive of tax; applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout.
5. Free Trial
We offer a 7-day free trial for new accounts. You must provide payment details when starting your trial. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and you will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Order book data collection depends on third-party exchange APIs which may experience downtime or changes outside our control. We are not liable for data gaps caused by exchange outages, network issues, or scheduled maintenance.
7. Intellectual Property
Our software, infrastructure, and service design remain our intellectual property. Data collected through the service into your dedicated database is yours. We do not claim ownership of your collected market data. We may access your dedicated database solely for infrastructure maintenance and debugging purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ordivo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, trading losses, or losses arising from data gaps or service interruptions. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Upon termination, your logging node and dedicated database will be deprovisioned. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to retain via the API before your account is terminated. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
